Batley Live!
Previously Carnival for Life, the event will feature three event zones celebrating Batley life, showcasing Batley's talent and activities for Batley's families.
The first zone 'Batley Live' will hold the stage for the popular 'Batley's Got Talent' and performances from local artists.
Zone two will be 'Batley Life' hosting activities and exhibitions from local emergency services and the T.A. as well as local community groups and societies.
Zone three will be 'Batley Alive', the children's area, with jewellery, crafts, circus skills and a magician. There will be a Teddy Bear's Picnic and a prize for the best Teddy!
Zone three will also host the interactive Laundry Tent, with a large bubbly washing machine and the chance to decorate some under-pants! You can then hang them out to dry while enjoying the other activities.
There will also be an art trail with work from community artists around the Town Centre.
Batley Art Gallery will be running some sessions in the Gallery, so feel free to come up and join in!
