Does anyone know what has happenned to the Blacksmiths Country Inn just outside Pickering? I have stayed there a few times but when trying to rebook find their website has dosappeared and no one answers the phone.

Welcome to the Pickering Forum of Pure Yorkshire and thank you for posting.
In short - they went through the hoop and the place has been closed for a few months now.
I think the company that owns the building might look to re-lease it, so who knows, it might just come back to life in the future.
