The upgrades to the MySQL database is now completed and we are now running on the latest version.
I’ve just finished running the relevant tests and all looks fine and dandy. However, if you have difficulty using any of the forum features following the upgrade I will be grateful if you post them here.
This is specifically features that appear to be failing, not for general technical support. If you have a general user problem, please start a new topic.
I’ll leave this post running for a while, then I’ll cull it...

Hi All
Over the next few days we will be carrying out some maintenance and upgrades to our web servers. As part of this, we will be upgrading the MySQL database. This forum runs on a MySQL database.
There is every likelihood that during this maintenance period that the forum will not be available for short periods of time.
For security purposes, we will be making a back up of the existing data at each stage, this will mean that we can cover any potential issues and always replace what we had. However, if you notice the forums are not accessible, please just try again later.
If any posts you make over the next few days suddenly disappear, then please post again.
I will remove this announcement when the maintenance is completed.
