Surprise View Cottages
Self Catering, Farndale, North Yorkshire
Nestled on a farmstead in the North York Moors National Park (Heartbeat Country) at the lower end of Farndale, famous for its wild daffodils.
Surprise View Cottages have been converted from barns alongside the historic buildings which once housed a mill and tannery. The newly renovated farmhouse and cottages are set like a gem with the backdrop of the moors behind.
The cottages and farmhouse are an excellent base for walking, being on the very edge of the Moors and having immediate access to moorland walks, fields, tracks, woods and a network of public footpaths including the link walk; you can walk out leaving your car behind!
Named after the well-known, panoramic view looking down from the nearby church at Gillamoor, they are only 1 mile from the picturesque village of Hutton-le-Hole with its renowned Ryedale Folk Museum.
